2010 Nillumbik Prize-$5000 non acquisitive Award - 21 June to 9 August 2010
Nillumbik Shire Council in association with Montsalvat present the 2010
Nillumbik Prize. This prestigious award celebrates the artists
and artwork of this region by offering a non-acquisitive prize of $5000
for a work of excellence in any media. Two commendations and a
People’s Choice Award of $500 each will also be awarded.
The judge for the 2010 Prize is Melbourne artist Daniel Moynihan.
Moynihan is best known for drawing, printmaking and painting and for
his extensive studies of the Tasmanian Tiger which is a recurring theme
of his work.
